For the model photography community

The Photographer Hub.

A growing Create Now Company resource for photographer perspectives, industry transparency, and more informed creative partnerships.

Survey of the Month

Why your perspective matters.

Conversations about modeling rates often happen privately—through individual bookings, messages, and experiences within separate markets. This makes it difficult for photographers and models to understand what the broader community is experiencing.

Create Now Company is gathering anonymous photographer feedback to understand what photographers currently perceive as standard rates, how those rates affect the number of models they can realistically hire, and what feels financially workable across different modeling genres.

Your participation can help educate traveling models about the financial realities photographers experience while planning shoots. It also gives photographers a meaningful voice in a conversation that directly affects how often they are able to create.

Responses will be combined anonymously into a monthly report designed to encourage greater industry transparency and more informed conversations between photographers and models.

  • What photographers currently perceive as standard rates
  • How rates affect realistic monthly booking volume
  • What feels financially workable across different genres
  • What could support healthier, more sustainable creative partnerships

This survey is not intended to tell models what they should charge or photographers what they should pay. Its purpose is to reveal experiences, identify patterns, and help both sides better understand one another.
